Who are A.W.C?
A.W.C. Engineering Ltd. was formed out of 20+ years experience recycling W.E.E.E. Directive type materials, plastics along with 30,000 tons of tyre processing per annum. The company "UK Metal Industries PLC" was responsible for designing, building and maintaining specialist granulators, shredders and process technology equipment without compromise to give it a unique edge over the general equipment available to competitors in the marketplace. This equipment was developed with the arduous type of materials being processed in mind therefore resulting in high reliability, low downtime and low production costs. The directors of UK Metal Industries PLC sold the assets of the company to an Australian recycling company in 2004. The new owners of the business are still using much of the original technology and have integrated additional equipment to secure and maintain their position as the worlds largest processor of W.E.E.E. Directive Materials. A.W.C. Engineering Ltd. was formed by a director of the above company, Adrian Crompton, following the sale of the recycling business in 2004. Whilst no longer a processor, AWC Engineering have applied the knowledge and experience gained from 20+ years of processing to the benefit of its ever increasing list of customers. If you are looking to install new equipment or production lines then why reinvent the wheel? Setting up and developing process technology can be a very frustrating and costly exercise. Instead you could gain from our experiences. From simple one machine systems to complete production lines, including the most problematic “separation technology” where money is made or lost. AWC Engineering would be pleased to discuss how we can be of assistance, and with an ever increasing portfolio of equipment and services now is the time get in touch.
