Heavy Duty Single Shaft Shredders
The AWC Engineering Ltd "SS" Range of single shaft shredders are suitable for a wide range of recycling and size reduction processes. The low operating speed of 85 rpm keeps noise and energy consumption to a minimum. The machines are fitted with symetrical block blades which allow the rotating cutters to be turned 4 times before replacements are required which reduces operational costs and machine downtime. The hydraulic ram feeding system in the loading hopper allows for adjustment of feed force and cutting pressure. Each machine is fitted with a classifier screen to control the output size of the shredded material. The design of the machines allows these screens to be removed quickly and easily to facilitate cleaning between different materials types. Each machine is supplied with a CE/UL Marked electrical control panel. All moving components of the machine are enclosed within the electrically interlocked machine cabinet to prevent access whilst the machine is running and to ensure operator safety.
